MMLi is a simple Music Macro Language interpreter written in ISO C99. The Music Macro Language originated in 8-bit BASIC implementations (as part of the “PLAY” command), and can still be found in modern BASICs (like QB64) and in system software (like FreeBSD's spkr.c driver.) This interpreter features an example "mmlitest" program which can be used to translate MML sequences into beep(1) commandline arguments.
Math-Random-Xorshift is a Perl module that contains a straightforward implementation of the Xorshift PRNG algorithm proposed by G. Marsaglia in 2003. The algorithm is extremely fast and passes the Diehard test, though it is not reliable enough statistically. This module is useful for games and similar applications.
MeteoIO is a C++ library whose main design goals are: providing meteorological data format/protocol independent data access; providing safe and robust I/O; making I/O code as unobtrusive and simple as possible for the user; providing ready to use data to the user (transparent caching, filtering, resampling, and spatial interpolation); enabling unattended use from an I/O point of view; offering high modularity so that individual elements of the library can easily be replaced/expanded/added; and by its modularity, help interdisciplinary development, each module being targeted at a specific developer profile.
Minix editline is the line editing library from Minix, originally created by Simmule R. Turner and Rich $alz in 1992. It can be linked into almost any program to provide command-line editing and history. The editline library is call-compatible with the FSF readline library, but is a fraction of the size and offers fewer features.
