LZO is a portable lossless data compression library written in ANSI C. It offers pretty fast compression and very fast decompression. Decompression requires no memory. In addition there are slower compression levels achieving a quite competitive compression ratio while still decompressing at this very high speed.
CloverETL is Java-based tool/framework for data integration and creation of data transformations. It is component based and follows the concept of transformation graphs which consist of individual nodes/components performing simple (or complex) operations on data. Any transformation can be defined as a set of interconnected nodes through which data flows. CloverETL can be used as a standalone application or be embedded into a larger project.
JyConsole is an efficient component able to manipulate Python/Jython and Java objects through a command line interface. It features several requirements of modern consoles, such as command history, completion (Ctrl+Space), easy script loading, and basic GUI preference management. JyConsole can be directly used as a standalone application or as an embedded graphical component in a Java or Jython application.
Valentina is cross-platform SQL and non-SQL columnar database that allows development of client-server [Web] solutions and applications with an embedded local database using the same sources. Valentina DB provides an Object-Relational model, but you can also mix Relational and Extended Navigational. It introduces a revolutionary model abstraction "Link" that greatly simplifies db schema, and therefore simplifies SQL queries. It supports disk and in-memory databases, and field types including Bit, BLOB, Pictures, and Enum. It provides advanced features such as triggers, views, stored procedures, regular expressions, XML, full-text search, and calculated fields. It exists as Valentina Server, Valentina Studio, and a set of Valentina ADKs for all major programming languages.
Apophenia is an open statistical library. It provides functions on the same level as those of the typical stats package (such as OLS, probit, or singular value decomposition) but doesn't tie the user to an ad hoc language or environment. The core functions are written in C, but a Python interface is included. It supports SQLite and MySQL databases, exponentially expanding the upper limit to manageable data sets. Since the library is significantly faster than most stats packages, computationally-intensive procedures like maximum likelihood estimation and Monte Carlo routines are easy to implement.
jPDFViewer is a Java bean which embeds a PDF viewer in your Java applications and applets. It can read, display, and print PDF files, fill interactive PDF forms (acroforms, xfa forms), view all markup annotations, validate and display digital signatures, and perform text search, selection, and highlighting. It provides easy navigation with different views: thumbnails, bookmarks, annotations, etc. It has a customizable toolbar and user interface. It supports all image types, including JBIG2 and JPEG 2000, and all PDF font types (Types 0-3, OpenType, TrueType). It supports Acrobat PDF format 1.7, including layers, all PDF color spaces, including pattern and separation, and file attachments. There's no need to install or configure additional drivers or software when deploying.
Zebra_Form is a PHP class that simplifies the process of creating and validating HTML forms. Its object-oriented structure promotes rapid HTML forms development and encourages developers to write clean and easily maintainable code. It frees the developers from the repetitive task of writing the code for validating forms by offering powerful built-in client-side and server-side validation. Zebra_Form has an integrated cross-site scripting prevention mechanism that automatically strips out potentially malicious code from the submitted data. It also prevents automated SPAM posts, out of the box and without relying on CAPTCHA by using honey pots. Output can be generated either automatically or manually through templates (basic PHP files). When generated automatically, the generated output has the same look and feel across all major browsers. It provides all the controls you’d expect in an HTML form and, additionally, date/time pickers, captcha, and AJAX-like file upload controls.
Lorem Ipsum Generator provides a GTK+ graphical user interface, a command-line interface, and a Python module that generate random "lorem ipsum" text (a popular kind of dummy text). The Lorem Ipsum Generator can produce a given quantity of paragraphs or sentences of "lorem ipsum" text. "Lorem ipsum" text is also known as "lipsum" text.
