Lloyd's Java Shell is a java scripting tool (it could read and execute java-like statement from any input stream) that could easily be plugged into an application and modify its object - so it is also a configuration tool. It is also a good test tool, as you could easily use it to test any feature of your new object.
Trace.java is a package used by Java programmers, testers, server administrators and others to understand what happened during the execution of a program. It doesn't generate tracing statements automatically; programmers have to add them. Trace messages go into an in-core ring buffer, a disk log, or both. The disk log can be fixed size with backups. What amount of detail gets logged can be controlled at runtime or launch time. The ring buffer and disk log can be controlled separately. Different subsystems of the code can be controlled independently.
EZ Reusable Objects (EZRO) is a Web application that can be used by non-technical staff to manage content as "objects." Content objects containing text, video, and audio can be shared, modified, and re-styled to appear via a traditional Web site, an on-line course, an innovative "Coach," or as a community of interest site. It is highly scalable and can be used for public Web sites, secure environments, and private intra/extranets.
DM Performance Meter is intended for measuring the execution time of a script (or its parts). It measures the time taken to execute the part of a PHP script between specified start and end points. It also can measure the time of arbitrary checkpoints. It supports: setting multiple named check points; output measurement results as plain text, HTML comments, and HTML unordered lists; and logging results to CSV files.
UnitTest++ is a lightweight unit testing framework for C++. It was designed to do test-driven development on a wide variety of platforms. Simplicity, speed, and small footprint are all very important aspects of its design. It makes minimal use of advanced library and language features, which means it should be easily portable to just about any platform.
Testare is a Java testing framework for distributed applications. Its initial focus is on Java EE with in-container EJB testing, but it is very easy to develop support for technologies such as RMI or Corba. Testare is written from scratch, but JUnit compatibility is in the works. This feature will enable Testare test cases to be discovered and executed by JUnit execution tools.
Cool PHPUnit Testcase Runner is a program to help optimize PHP software via unit testing. It recursively finds all unit test files within the PHP include path that use the naming pattern \*Test.php. The selection set is displayed in the form of a drop-down menu to run each of the test files separately. By inserting paths, filenames, and PEAR style classnames into a textarea field, you can fine tune the selection of the drop-down menu. The test results are displayed both as a progress bar and as a result list with additional information. Both formats use colors to differ successful results from the other result types.
