libnodelay is an LD_PRELOAD library for disabling Nagle's algorithm. Disabling Nagle's algorithm can result in a performance improvement for latency-sensitive applications that use TCP. Using the library may be easier than digging through a mess of code and confusing or obscure configuration options.
libvfcgi is a library that implements FastCGI for GObject and Vala applications, written in Vala. It aims to fully implement the FastCGI specification and make FastCGI Web application servers accessible to Vala programmers and GObject C programmers. Note that while it is possible to use the library from GObject C, it is designed for use with Vala and may be tedious to use directly in C.
myPatterns is a lightweight library implementing pattern matching of arbitrary data structures (not just strings) in concrete syntax notations. Default notations such as JSON are pre-defined, but users can override them with new, customized notations for their data. myPatterns is available for C and JavaScript developers, and has already been integrated with querying tools such as JSLINQ and JSONQuery.
noVNC is a VNC client implemented using HTML5 technologies, specifically Canvas and WebSockets. It supports "wss://" encryption (SSL/TLS). For browsers that do not have native WebSockets support, the project includes web-socket-js, a WebSockets emulator using Adobe Flash. In addition, as3crypto has been added to web-socket-js to implement WebSocket SSL/TLS encryption, i.e. the "wss://" URI scheme.
Papyrus is a 2D C++ scenegraph (canvas) library that utilizes the cairo library to perform drawing operations. Similar canvas libraries are the Gnome Canvas, Diacanvas, and the QT Canvas. Numerous canvas primitives are available, including arcs, rectangles, polylines, and line markers. An optional companion library, Papyrusmm, provides a set of Gtkmm widgets which includes viewports (a canvas display widget similar to Gtk::DrawingArea) and other UI widgets related to drawing interfaces.
The pbs_python package is a wrapper class for the Torque Batch System C library. With this package, you now can write utilities and extensions in Python instead of C. This package was developed to replace xpbsmon by an ASCII version named pbsmon. PBSQuery is also included in this package. This is a Python module built on top of the pbs Python module to simplify querying the batch server. There are a lot of examples included in the source package.
psycopg is a PostgreSQL database adapter for the Python programming language. Its main advantages are that it supports the full Python DBAPI 2.0 and it is thread safe at level 2. It was designed for heavily multi-threaded applications that create and destroy lots of cursors and make a conspicuous number of concurrent INSERTs or UPDATEs. The psycopg distribution includes ZPsycopgDA, a Zope Database Adapter.
