The 0MQ lightweight messaging kernel is a library which extends the standard socket interfaces with features traditionally provided by specialized messaging middleware products. 0MQ sockets provide an abstraction of asynchronous message queues, multiple messaging patterns, message filtering (subscriptions), seamless access to multiple transport protocols, and more.
Arcavias is an e-commerce framework for Web shops, consisting of an e-commerce library, an administration interface, and different frontends. It's a modular stack which offers flexibility and speed. Unlike other Web shops, it's not a monolithic application. Instead, you have a choice between several user frontends, and you can adapt them to your needs or write one of your own.
Asymptote is a powerful descriptive 2D and 3D vector graphics language for technical drawing, inspired by MetaPost but with an improved C++-like syntax. It provides for figures the same high-quality level of typesetting that LaTeX does for scientific text. Asymptote is a programming language as opposed to just a graphics program. It can exploit the best features of script (command-driven) and graphical user interface (GUI) methods. High-level graphics commands are implemented in the language itself, allowing them to be easily tailored to specific applications.
AuthenticRoast allows you to build highly flexible authentication mechanisms for the Java Web tier. This can be anything from HTTP Basic authentication to authenticating with openid, facebook, or your company's Kerberos setup. The authentication modules can be combined at will and even changed at runtime. This currently works for glassfish and plain Tomcat, and allows you to use all the features of container-managed security without being constrained to the simple login methods provided.
Bletchley is a real-world cryptanalysis framework. It was created to assist with the detection, analysis, and exploitation of cryptographic flaws and aims to help automate the tedious aspects of this analysis while leaving the security expert in control of the process. It features automated token encoding detection (36 encoding variants), passive ciphertext block length and repetition analysis, a script generator for efficient automation of HTTP requests, and a flexible, multithreaded padding oracle attack library with CBC-R support.
BoneCP is a Java JDBC connection pool implementation that is tuned for high performance by minimizing lock contention to give greater throughput for your applications. It currently beats all known connection pools, including C3P0 and DBCP, as shown on the benchmark section on the site.
C-ICAP Classify is a module that allows classification (labeling) of Web pages, images, and soon video based on content. Labels are placed in HTTP headers. Any PIC-Label META tags are exported into HTTP headers. This allows for creation of very flexible filters according to rules defined by the user, using the ICAP enabled proxy's ACLs. It is not a URL filter, so implementing it with sslBump or similar proxy technologies makes it very difficult to bypass. Text classification is done using Fast Hyperspace (based on Hyperspace from CRM114) and/or a Fast Naive Bayes. Image and video (when implemented) use haar feature detection from the OpenCV library.
CarvPath (libcarvpath) is a library aimed at computer forensic tools that process disk and/or memory dump images or other large data files. The library allows the creation and manipulation of CarvPath annotations, which are a way to annotate partitions, files, alternate streams, processes etc. within a disk or memory image as a string. Entities within a CarvPath notation can be fragmented and/or nested, and allow for the expression of 'sparse' fragments within an entity. The CarvPath annotations resemble a path string in a filesystem, and thus present a basis for the interaction between computer forensics tools and the CarvPath-based user space file-system, CarvFs.
