openTCS is a platform-independent transportation control system (TCS) intended to control automatic guided vehicles (AGVs), but which can be used to steer virtually any (track-guided) vehicle. It consists of an abstract kernel which implements replaceable algorithms and strategies (computation of routes, dispatching of orders to vehicles, scheduling of resources, etc.), pluggable vehicle drivers which implement communication protocols, and a graphical frontend for creating and visualizing logical models of areas the vehicles are moving in.
iNamik Template Engine is a Smarty-inspired template processor for Java. It is suitable for any textual output, including XML, HTML, plain text, etc. It encourages well-formatted templates. It works very hard to remove extra whitespace introduced by the template tags. Consistent, well-indented input is rewarded with well-indented output. Caching is supported via EHCache. It is extensible, allowing you to create your own tags, functions, and filters.
The Whole Brain Catalog is a 3D virtual environment to facilitate solutions for currently intractable challenges in brain research. It is meant to enable the synthesis of data measured from brains at different scales into more coherent models of brain structure and function. The Whole Brain Catalog is a client-server platform that provides rich 3D views for researchers to zoom in, out, and around structures deep in a multi-scale spatial framework of the mouse brain. A 3D graphics engine used in graphics-intensive computer gaming generates high-resolution visualizations that bring data to life through biological simulations and animations.
The main goal of the Java API for KML (JAK) is to provide an automatically generated full reference implementation of the KML object model defined by OGC’s KML standard and Google’s GX extensions. It is an object-oriented API that enables the convenient and easy use of KML in existing Java environments. KML is an XML-based language schema that describes and visualizes geographic data. The language is often used in 2D web based maps and 3D virtual globes. APIs for XML dialects are implemented using two layers. The current official XML schema of KML in conjunction with the JAXB technology is used to generate Java class representations automatically. KML’s schema is a document describing the correct syntax of KML files and can, therefore, be used for validating the corresponding KML files. The semantic application layer, which is found on top of the JAXB layer, is abstracted from the raw generated classes and defines a well-shaped API. This API provides easy out-of-the-box access to KML for the user. This project provides a Java API for KML in order to enable this.
HashCatalog is a program that can find duplicate files in one or more folders or between two lists of one or more folders. HashCatalog supports a regular expression mask to select files to be evaluated for duplicates. HashCatalog will always recurse directories in search of files. HashCatalog can also create an XML file containing a listing of files, along with enough information to be able to determine duplicates. This XML file can be used to allow searches for duplicates against removable media. The catalog can be supplied to the list of search locations, along with individual files and folders. The hash methods supported are: MD5, SHA, SHA1, SHA256, SHA384, and SHA512.
