It uses plugins to extend the software for tasks such as e-commerce, portals, intranets, and editorial systems.
nexB OpenAssets is a tool for inventorying, managing, and monitoring applications, software, hardware, networks, and generally any IT asset. It is designed so that system administrators, IT, and finance can determine what they have, how it is configured, what it is used for, and how much it is being used, so that informed decisions can be made. It complements existing network management software, integrates with a growing number of protocols and tools, and features no-agent discovery and inventory, configuration management including dependencies and correlation, monitoring, and reporting. It makes extensive and innovative use of XML, Xpath, and Xquery.
NConf is a Web tool for configuring the Nagios monitoring software. It differs from similar tools by offering enterprise-class features like templates, dependencies, and the ability to configure a large-scale, distributed Nagios server topology. It lets you effortlessly maintain a distributed Nagios topology. It has a user-friendly GUI. It features host and service templates, a graphical dependency viewer, multiple authentication modes, a Nagios configuration importer, a CSV file importer, and a Perl database API. The data schema is customizable and expandable.
OpenPanel is a remote server administration and configuration system for Unix-based systems. It offers both an AJAX Web interface and a command line shell which allow you to manage users, domains, email, Web sites, and other hosting-related services using either a standard browser or a terminal connection.
Gargoyle is an interface for small, widely available routers such as the Linksys WRT54G series and the La Fonera. It provides functionality above and beyond what the default software provides including sophisticated dynamic DNS, quality of service, and bandwidth monitoring tools. The primary goal is to provide a polished interface for these advanced tools that is at least as easy to configure as any existing firmware. This project is based on top of OpenWrt, but unlike other Web interfaces for OpenWrt it places a strong focus an usability and is meant for average users, not just power users.
OpenTicket functions as an incident manager, handling trouble-tickets and providing a mechanism for the resolution of all incidents. More specifically, openTicket serves as the Service Desk interface and handles the life cycle of incidents and service requests. The focus of openTicket is speed and efficiency. Unlike other call-tracking tools which offer a plethora of text fields, pull-down menus, and associated data, openTicket's interface is stripped down as much as possible without sacrificing key information. The benchmark used to determine efficiency is the 30-second test. If you know the user's name and you know the issue, it should take no longer than 30 seconds from the moment you begin looking up the user to the moment the ticket (including all relevant information) has been created and entered into the database.
