Oolite is an independent reinterpretation and ehancement of the classic space sim game Elite for modern computers. The result is a space trading and combat simulation offering encounters with pirates, police, bounty hunters, the occasional alien menace, and other surprises along the way. While striving to reach the coveted Elite status, the players set their own path through the various galaxies, choosing to be trader, pirate, or bounty hunter depending on the situation at hand, and their own judgement. The game is hugely expandable, using a combination of property lists and JavaScript. Oolite's active modding community already provides more than 200 OXPs (Oolite eXpansion Packs). Among them are a huge variety of missions, weapons, ships, and extra career paths over and above what's available within the core game, as well as a number of other gameplay enhancements and customizations.

Embedthis Bit replaces both autoconf and make with a single utility: bit. Bit provides a higher level of abstraction for easily specifying the targets to build (libraries and executables). It can build directly on Linux, Mac, or Windows and cross compile for other platforms. It can also generate native projects for Visual Studio, XCode, Make, Nmake, and shell scripts. Bit builds quickly without the complexity of autoconf and make. Bit projects are described using JavaScript, and the entire build is exposed as a unified DOM object.

TorrentWatch-X is a Web-based tool to automate BitTorrent downloads. This is a fork of the torrentwatch project, now also with NMT support. It is meant to run on Linux and Mac OS X with different BitTorrent clients (for now, only Transmission is supported directly) and make it work in all Web browsers. It supports RSS feeds from a few torrent sites that offer TV shows. It can save torrent files in any folder, so any torrent client can pick it up. It can tell Transmission to save data in any folder. It can tell Transmission to stop when a certain ratio is reached. Authentication with Transmission is supported. Your own RSS feed can be added.

Algorithm Study provides tools and resources to augment the traditional study of algorithms. It includes implementations of common and less-common algorithms in a variety of languages and visualization tools to help in gaining a deeper understanding of the algorithms. The algorithm implementations are each accompanied by a discussion of the asymptotic ("big O") run time and memory limits of the algorithm. Some implementations include discussion of how the algorithm or data structure is commonly used and comparisons with similar algorithms or data structures.
