Antville is high performance, feature rich weblog hosting software based on Helma Object Publisher, an Open Source Web application server entirely written in Java. Antville itself is written in JavaScript and scales very well up to tens of thousands of weblogs on an ordinary machine. It is easy to use while offering a lot of advanced features which make it capable of hosting other types of websites as well. It features per-site language and timezone definitions, import and export of layout templates, import and export of stories (.xml), tags, polls, file uploads, user rights management, Blogger, MetaWeblog, and MovableType API support, virtual site hosting, feeds (full content or just stories, comments, per tag), and disk quotas. The AntClick package contains everything you need to run Antville on your own computer (Web server, application server, embedded database).
