It can also read and write sequence data in a variety of common formats and communicate with Ensembl databases and with DAS and BioCorba servers.

Jmol is an active project, and there are new features being added to it on a daily basis. Users are encouraged to modify it to fit their needs and to contribute their changes to the project.

MCS MyRoute helps diagnose connectivity problems with detailed network routing discovery and analysis, providing visibility to poor-performing networks and devices. It comes with a number of layout algorithm plugins, and supports the easy creation of plugins for new layout algorithms. 3D geometries for graph element glyphs and algorithms for graph generation and modification are loaded dynamically as plugins, providing an extremely flexible platform for all manner of graph visualisation applications. The system has been applied with considerable success to a number of graph visualisation problems.
