The j661 project provides a generic CDS (or ARINC 661 Server) in order to facilitate the understanding of the ARINC 661 standard, prototype ARINC 661 concepts and architectures, and facilitate the reuse of ARINC 661 specifications and artefacts between projects. The CDS architecture is designed to allow defining the Server behavior to be easily modified or extended. This is achieved by a modular plug-in architecture, allowing customization at runtime without changing anything in the Server core itself.
AppDynamics an application performance management solution for mission-critical Java applications. It can organize user requests and business transactions, monitor business transaction health, identify and diagnose slow requests, identify and diagnose errors, and drill down. It is built from the ground up for highly distributed service-oriented environments. It has fast root cause diagnostics at the method/class level, but creates no more than 2% overhead, even in high-volume production deployments. It can not only manage applications, but dynamically scale them in cloud and virtual environments.
TIXI is a fast and simple XML interface library for applications written in C, C++, Fortran, Java, and Python. Although simplified and somewhat restricted compared to a fully-fledged XML processing library, it can create documents, create and delete nodes, and add and remove element attributes. Routines for reading and writing text nodes and nodes holding integer and floating point numbers are included, along with routines that process aggregates of these simple types for the processing of geometric data, multidimensional arrays, or arrays of vectors.
jGoogleCalSync is a Java application that uses the ICS file format to access and upload calendar information in GMail's Calendar. The application has been built to upload Lotus Notes calendar information. Once the Lotus Notes information is in GMail calendar, it can be synchronized via CalDAV towards an iPhone or other calDAV-enabled devices.
The QuantumChange Component Management System is a system that manages logical software components, subsystem views of those components, and product configurations. It targets large and/or distributed component based development efforts where there are many products consisting of similar but different components.
Game Controller Hack (GCH) allows you to use a game controller (like a game pad or joystick) with games which do not support them. It achieves this by mapping the directional input (like analogue joysticks and directional pads) and button presses to mouse and keyboard events. This allows all types of games to be played, from first person shooters to simple 2D flash games.
OpenMEAP provides HTML5 mobile application software which removes the need for developing mobile apps natively across multiple platforms. It enables organizations of all sizes to efficiently develop, deliver, and manage mobile applications while using their existing Web development and designer resources.
Load Tester is a Web stress tool that measures how many users your site can handle. It allows you to generate up to a million virtual users from the Amazon cloud to test the entire application stack. The automated record and configuration process means no complicated hand-coding and no scripting languages to learn. Configuring user input such as login credentials, search terms, and other user-entered fields is as easy as clicking on the field. The user capacity analysis clearly measures your site's capacity based on either simple performance goals or complicated Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Load Tester automatically configures sophisticated logic to detect application and logic errors. When an error does happen, not only is the page captured, but you get a visual comparison showing not only the rendered page, but the HTML that triggered the error. The software comes in a free LITE version as well as a commercial PRO version.
