Cassandra is a scientific data viewer based on VTK. Cassandra provides dynamic interaction with the VTK pipeline and enables the user to load plug-ins dynamically in order to perform specific tasks in data manipulation and visualisation. Cassandra is open and modular, and can easily be extended to new filters through a set of dynamically loadable plug-ins. A plug-in template is provided to help users to develop and share their own plug-ins. This approach allows users to perform complex filtering without any specific knowledge of VTK or C++.
L2J is an alternate game server for Lineage2. The L2 protocol is reimplemented in the server, so you can play with this server without any modifications to the client (except changing the server IP address). The latest USA live client version is always supported, so don't expect this server to work with the PTS/Korean client.
WebEngine is a lightweight, versatile, content-centric Web framework to quickly build and deliver next generation content-oriented Web applications. It enables developers using Java 5 and/or JVM-based scripting languages (Groovy, JavaScript, Jython, JRuby, etc.) to quickly develop Web applications on top of the Nuxeo Core ECM platform.
RUBiS is an auction site modeled after eBay.com used to benchmark e-commerce Web site technologies. It is currently used to evaluate design patterns, application servers, and communication layers scalability. Several implementations using PHP, Servlets, Enterprise JavaBeans (EB BMP, EB CMP, MDB, SB, EJB 2.0 CMP, Session Façade, etc.) are already available and new versions for JDO and .Net are currently developed.
CTL is a cross-platform control dispatching tool that makes it easy to automate any kind of distributed systems management or application provisioning task. Rather than writing complex and error-prone scripts that over utilize "for loops", CTL handles the network dispatching for you and allows you to focus on the actual management tasks you need to accomplish. In addition to being a dispatching tool, CTL comes with pre-built cross-platform utilities so you don't have to script actions like file distribution or process and port checking. You can also write your own custom utilities and share them with others in your organization. Custom utilities are defined in XML, and your scripting can be done in multiple scripting languages (Perl, Python, etc.), *nix shell, Windows batch, and/or Ant.
P~ (pronounced "P tilde") is a Java-like scripting language and regular expression engine. P~ offers novel powers to match, extract, and transform documents. Regex novelties include an easy-to-read algebraic syntax and general capture and statement insertion side-effects. This is a great benefit to Java users, who no longer need to outsource difficult regex problems to Perl/Python scripts, since ptilde is offered as a Java library as well as a standalone scripting engine.
FrAid (Fr[actal] Aid) is a programming language that is appropriate for mathematical computations, visualization, batch processing, and more. It features both a standalone application that provides a programming environment for the language and a system for integrating the language with Java. The Java interface allows mathematical equations and formulas to be used with Java code, making it easier to process numerical computations, symbolic computations, imaging, CAD, and more.
DataVision is a reporting tool similar to Crystal Reports. Reports can be designed using a drag-and-drop GUI or a text editor. They may be run, viewed, and printed from the application or exported as HTML, XML, PDF, Excel, LaTeX2e, DocBook, or tab- or comma-delimited text files. The output files produced by LaTeX2e and DocBook can in turn be used to produce PDF, text, HTML, PostScript, and more. It can generate reports from JDBC databases or text data files. Report descriptions are stored as XML files.
