BreakIn is a version of a classic pong-style game from the late 1970's. Move your paddle to hit the ball. Take out all the bricks and move to the next level. The game gets more difficult as the ball speeds up and your paddle gets shorter. A Java ME enabled device with CLDC 1.0 and MIDP 1.0 support is required. The version with sound requires a device with Sprint PCS extensions for MIDP 1.0.
Escluderlate is a Java game for mobiles and portable devices (J2ME). The scope is surviving inside the arena more than the computer controlled opponent(s). You have to avoid crashing on the walls that each player leaves behind. You can move your pointer using the arrows, or the keys 2(up), 4(left), 6(right), and 8(down). Escluderlate contains 21 different levels and 3 different speeds, but it's easily extendable.
Galactic Attack is a fast-paced space shooter game. It is available for Java ME enabled cell phones and other wireless devices. The object is to get the highest score possible by shooting the enemies as you advance through each level. Each time you collide with an enemy or enemy fire, you lose a life. You start with three lives, and you earn a life at the completion of each level. The game ends when you run out of lives. This MIDlet requires a Java ME enabled device with CLDC 1.0 and MIDP 1.0 support.
JGame is a 2D game engine that makes multi-platform development easier. It runs on the Java JRE 1.3+ platform with optional OpenGL (JOGL) enhancements, the J2ME (MIDP2.0/CLDC1.1) mobile platform, and the Android (2.1+) platform. JGame features sprites with automatic animation and collision detection, a tile-based background with easy sprite-tile interaction facilities, automatic scaling, sound, game state, persistent storage, and game options. The engine provides an enhanced graphics API with a fallback to simpler and more efficient graphics on J2ME and plain JRE. A patched version of the JBox2D physics engine that runs on all platforms is included.
