MicroSweeper is Minesweeper-like game intended for J2ME-capable (MIDP 2.0, CLDC 1.1) hand-held devices. The game allows optional determinism, which when turned on, ensures that each mine can be discovered without guessing. Besides the traditional game, it provides a pseudo-hexagonal grid and games with various "neighborhood" patterns, where the number on the field is computed from mines located further from the field itself.
