Clig uses a simple description file to create C-code to interprete the typical *NIX command line as well as an up-to-date usage-message and a manual page skeleton. It supports Flag, String, Int, Long, Float and Double types, with ranges, defaults, and more. The generated C-Code is ANSI but has been reported to work with C++. It is self contained code which does not depend on any library other than libc. Included is a TCL-only TCL-package to instrument your TCL scripts the same way as your C-programs.
Ftwalk is a high level script programming language, very similar to awk, but greatly extended to include a richer type system, object-oriented features, 300+ built-in functions, extensibility through dynamic libraries, etc., which makes it roughly comparable to languages like Perl. It does file tree searches, and was originally used to implement selective redundant copy backup stores. It can be run interactively as a calculator.

Zsh is a UNIX command interpreter (shell) which of the standard shells most resembles the Korn shell (ksh). It includes enhancements of many types, notably in the command-line editor, options for customising its behaviour, filename globbing, features to make C-shell (csh) users feel more at home and extra features drawn from tcsh.
libgringo is a library to writes applications that run both in console (using ncurses) and under X-Window (using gtk). libgringo detects if you are running from the console or under X-Window, and selects the right library to use without recompiling your code. gringosh and gringodlg are two parsers that use libgringo to provide similar functionality to the cdialog utility. It was written to make some configuration scripts work both in console and under X Windows without any modification. gringosh and gringodlg also provide features more powerful than cdialog such as the ability to have more than two buttons per form and more than two windows on the screen.
CLIP is a Clipper/XBase compatible compiler with initial support other xBase dialects. It features support for international languages and character sets. It also features OOP, a multiplatform GUI based on GTK/GTKextra, all SIX/Comix features (including hypertext indexing), SQL and ODBC drivers, a C-API for third-party developers, a few wrappers for popular libraries (such as BZIP, GZIP, GD, Crypto, and Fcgi), a multitasking client and application server based on TCP/IP sockets, object data base utilities, and a functions library.
serverizor allows you to take a normal command- based program, and run it as a tcp server in the background. This means that you can start up such programs once, and then connect to them with a command-line client, and run commands, disconnect, connect again from some other machine, etc. So, you can use it to boot up a large program such as emacs or lisp (in interpretor mode, not in editor/windowing mode) in the background, and then whenever you want to run emacs/lispy scripts, you could just run a serverizor client with a few commands. Therefore, the client and the server are the same program.
