The libmba package is a collection of mostly independent C modules potentially useful to any project. There are the usual ADTs including a linkedlist, hashmap, pool, stack, and varray, a flexible memory allocator, CSV parser, path canonicalization routine, I18N text abstraction, configuration file module, portable semaphores, condition variables, and more. The code is designed so that individual modules can be integrated into existing codebases rather than requiring the user to commit to the entire library. The code has no typedefs, few comments, and extensive man pages and HTML documentation.

Eigenbase Resource Generator (ResGen) generates wrapper classes for Java resource bundles. The generated classes contain a 'get' method for every resource string, with parameters appropriate to the parameters embedded in the resource string. If the resource is some kind of exception, it also generates a 'new' method to create an instance of that exception. C++ generation is also supported.

Java+ is a Java preprocessor that adds its features to any Java compiler. It has long, multi-line strings with executable inclusions like Perl or Ruby, optionally segregates Java+ strings into ResourceBundle files, eliminates the need for JSP or ASP and their implied need for Java compilers on deployment servers (a security concern), and adds absolutely no overhead in either space or time. PHPLangadmin is a Web interface for editing PO files created by the xgettext program of the GNU gettext utilities. The messageids will be stored in a MySQL database. The user can add a translation for different languages for any messageid. PHPLangadmin can create the appropriate PO file for a selected language which the user has already translated. It features package administration to handle different applications, user administration, and language administration. It can parse output of the xgettext utility and create a language file for the translated messages.

libintl-perl is a library that supports message translation for Perl, written in pure Perl (version 5.004 or better). A faster C version is also built and installed if the system fulfills all requirements. Its interface is a superset of the gettext family of functions in C, and it uses the same file formats as GNU gettext, making it possible to use all tools available for gettext itself and to seamlessly integrate internationalized Perl code into mixed-language projects.

I18NEdit manages internationalized properties for Java programs and features a PHP adapter class for them. All property bundles are shown in a tree, and each property is editable directly in all available localisations. I18NEdit keeps track of changes in a source locale and presents the translator only what has been altered since his last translation session. Distributed working groups are supported by merging features.
