BitRock InstallBuilder allows you to create easy-to-use multiplatform installers for Linux (x86/PPC/s390/x86_64/Itanium), Windows, Mac OS X, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, Solaris (x86/Sparc), IRIX, AIX, and HP-UX applications. The generated application installers have a native look-and-feel and no external dependencies, and can be run in GUI, text, and unattended modes. In addition to self-contained installers, the installation tool is also able to generate standalone RPM packages.
The GNOME NetworkManager is a set of co-operative tools that make networking simple and straightforward. Konstruct is a build system which helps you install KDE releases and applications on your system. It downloads defined source tarballs, checks their integrity, decompresses, patches, configures, builds, and installs them. A complete KDE installation should be as easy as "cd meta/kde; make install". Optionally, you can install additional applications like KOffice or KDevelop (for example, "cd apps/office/koffice; make install").

Ice Sound Manager was designed to ease the management of sound events, sound themes, and the IceSound server in the IceWM window manager. It is also intended to be an improvement upon the noble but primitive icesndcfg. The main improvements over icesndcfg include a support for sound event "themes", more comprehensive help, easy management and configuration of the IceSound server, a cleaner GUI interface, automatic starting of the IceSound server, and a more conservative approach to disk space usage.
