The Generic Image Decoder (GID) is an Ada package for decoding a broad variety of image formats, from any data stream to any kind of medium, be it an in-memory bitmap, a GUI object, some other stream, floating-point data for scientific calculations, a browser element, a device, etc. Animations are supported.
Image Commander is a simple program for bulk picture processing. It is set up as a two panel file manager. Users can select operations for processing. It is possible to save information about all accepted operations. At every configuration step of the operation, the user can view a result picture. Finally, after hitting F5 (processing), all files selected in the current panel will be processed with all selected and accepted operations.
Image Selector previews images defined in select input options. It can take as a parameter the identifier of a form select input element which has options set to the URLs of images to be picked by the user. The object can display the currently-selected image inside a preview page element. The object can also change the currently-selected image to move to the next, previous, first, last, or to any of the images in the list.
Image.class is a PHP class that can be used to generate images with graphic primitives defined programmatically. It can create an empty image with a given size or load an existing image from a JPEG, PNG, or GIF image. The class can render graphic primitives in the image like drawing a text string with optional border, copying parts of the image to another position, drawing ellipses, rectangles, and lines, and scaling the image to a given size. The generated image can be saved also in JPEG, PNG, or GIF formats.
JPCX is a Java package that provides a way to encode and decode PCX image data. Its main features are fast reading of meta-data by reading minimal data, the ability to read from any InputStream one time or any FileInputStream many times, support for both 8-bit indexed color and 24-bit true-color images, support for encoding and decoding both RLE and uncompressed, and the ability to encode and decode to different target streams easily.
Light source is an object which can apply a shadow to page elements based on the position of a light. It takes the identifier of a page element and changes its CSS atttributes which define shadow parameters depending on the position of a light source relative to the target element and its children elements. The shadow can be generated either with the shape of the text elements or the whole box of the target element.
