DatePNG is a PHP class can be used to generate a PNG image with a given time. It opens a template image in PNG format and renders text with a time in one or more formats. The font, size, position, angle, and color of the text are configurable parameters. The resulting image is generated in the PNG format as the current script output.
Decoration is an image decorator. It applies effects to your photoset. It has an extensive set of effects (more than 100) including color border, gradient border, round corners, drop shadow, mirror, blur, reduce noise, tint, mosaic, superpose text, rotate, zoom, crop, button, brightness, contrast, gamma, glow, bend, sharpen, change transparency, kaleidoscope, oil, emboss, bump, and edge. You can also use it to generate buttons. Images can be located on your hard disk, on a Web site, or in the clipboard, or your can create an empty one. Examples are included in the software.
Mailpictures is a Nautilus extension in GTK/Perl, designed to be a more featured nautilus-sendto replacement. It allows direct access via Nautilus context menus, automatic resizing of pictures, setting for JPEG compression, ZIP archiving of the selection, support for Evolution, Thunderbird, Icedove, and Kmail, and the ability to save results in a folder.
geh is a simple command line image viewer with various nice features. It currently supports a slide-show mode displaying multiple images in a row either controlled by a time interval and/or mouse button clicks, and a thumbnail mode creating small thumbnail images and caching them in ~/.thumbnails according to freedesktop.org's thumbnail specification.
