F*EX (Frams' Fast File EXchange) is a Web based service for sending very big files from one person to another. The sender uploads the file to the F*EX server and the recipient automatically gets a notification email with a download URL. Files are automatically deleted after download or an expiration date. The recipient and sender only need an email program and a Web browser. Sending to multiple recipients needs storage on the server only once. In contrast with other file transfer services, it has no file size limits at all and comes with shell tools for scripting up/downloading.
ModSecurity is an intrusion detection and prevention engine for Web applications (sometimes called a Web application firewall). Operating embedded or as part of an Apache reverse proxy, it increases Web application security, protecting Web applications from known and unknown attacks. It is flexible and easy to configure. mod_ssl provides provides strong cryptography for the Apache 1.3 webserver via the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL v2/v3) and Transport Layer Security (TLS v1). It is based on the SSL/TLS toolkit OpenSSL and supports all SSL/TLS related functionality, including RSA and DSA/DH cipher support, X.509 CRL checking, etc. Additionally it provides special Apache related facilities like DBM and shared memory based inter-process SSL session caching. per-URL SSL session renegotiations, DSO support, etc.
Turck MMCache is a free PHP accelerator, optimizer, encoder, and dynamic content cache. It increases performance of PHP scripts by caching them in a compiled state, so that the overhead of compiling is almost completely eliminated. It also uses some optimizations for speeding up PHP scripts' execution. It typically reduces server load and increases the speed of PHP code by 1-10 times. It is tested with PHP 4.1.0-4.3.3, and Apache 1.3 and 2.0 under Linux and Windows.
