Demoroniser is a Perl script which attempts to fix the gratuitously incompatible HTML generated by Microsoft applications. Many Microsoft programs use an 'enhanced' version of Latin-1 with extra characters like quotation marks and dashes. Sometimes people paste these characters into supposedly ASCII or Latin-1 web pages, resulting in pages that don't display properly on non-MS platforms. Demoroniser replaces these MS characters with standard ASCII equivalents. It also fixes up wrongly nested tags generated by HTML export in some MS applications.
MP3-CD-Sleeve is composed of two Perl scripts that produce HTML or LaTeX-style pages that can be printed as the index sleeve of an (MP3) CD. It briefly lists the directory hierarchy, by enumerating directories for ease of use in MP3 CD players. The LaTeX script tries to fit everything in a 5" x 5" (12.5cm x 12.5 cm) frame with wrap-around at the edges (no fold-out feature is included yet, it produces just the front cover).
Site Compiler is designed to facilitate easy and flexible offline management of Web sites, which are in plain HTML format (not CGI, ASP, PHP etc.). It is targeted at small firms and users of free servers, where databases and CGI are forbidden. It allows you to easily and quickly compile the site from templates and content files. It processes relative links, optimization of HTML, additional instructions, and validates local links.
CsvMail is an HTML form mailer and manager. It mails the results of form submissions and also writes the entry to a secure.csv file. It requires minimal HTML form changes - just change the beginning form tag to post to CsvMail. It is very easy to configure, but includes plenty of extra options, including domain security settings and a bounceback required fields option. A fully-functional evaluation version is available.
PHP-Proxy is a PHP script for taking Web pages from one server, so that your main server is protected if the Web server is overloaded from things like DOS attacks. It is also very useful if you have a machine behind a firewall that you want to be your server for Web pages, provided that the machine running the proxy has port 80 open. Finally, there is encryption to defeat filters on specific words if need be.
