The SeaMonkey project is a community effort to develop an all-in-one Internet application suite. It contains an Internet browser, email and newsgroup client with an included Web feed reader, HTML editor, IRC chat, and Web development tools, and is sure to appeal to advanced users, Web developers, and corporate users. It uses much of the Mozilla source code powering such successful siblings as Firefox, Thunderbird, Camino, Sunbird, and Miro.
phpHtmlLib is an application development framework for developing OOP style Web applications in PHP. The application framework supports an MVC style architecture and Ajaxable and Cacheable interfaces for developing rich client Web applications. It comtains a set of PHP classes and library functions to help facilitate building, debugging, and rendering of XML, HTML, XHTML, WAP/WML Documents, and SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) images as well as complex HTML widgets.
The HTML::Defaultify Perl module is designed to allow CGI programmers to present forms with some fields filled in, which is handy for letting users correct bad input, show records to be edited, and much more. The main function, defaultify(), takes any block of HTML and a hash of field names and values, and returns the HTML with the form fields set to those values. Value lists for multiple same-named fields are supported, as are pages with multiple forms. Several different input formats are supported for compatibility with existing tools.
Presenting XML is a Java Web application framework for presenting HTML, PDF, WML, etc. in a device independent manner. It supports various kinds of content, including XML files, dynamic content, SQL result sets, and flat files. It provides a declarative way for applying filters and XSLT transforms to a stream of XML content in a pipeline. It allows user defined filters and serializers written as Java plug-ins. It is component based and extendable. Presenting XML may be used as a command line tool or as a framework for a servlet-based Web application.
