i-doit is a Web-based IT documentation and CMDB. It documents IT-systems and their changes, defines emergency plans, displays vital information, and helps to ensure a stable and efficient IT operation. All information can be organized (details flexibly adjusted), stored, and maintained in one place. This allows simple Helpdesk, Support, and Planning functions and provides the basis for quality assurance and certification. i-doit allows services to be documented as a logical grouping of objects placed in relation to each other. This provides the basis for (ITIL) processes such as Change and Problem Management, and helps to control and manage the SLA (Service Level Agreement) or the communication with users. Its interfaces to other ITSM applications (like Nagios, Request Tracker, etc.) allow the entering of data only once in the ITSM environment. i-doit maintains one holistic view of the operational situation.
Comment Script is a script that allows comments to be left on any existing PHP or HTML page. By default, the script shows name, e-mail, homepage, title, and comment fields, though any can be disabled. The "comment" field is mandatory and must be filled out before the form can be submitted. In order to prevent the script from being abused by automatic spam bots, you can enable the CAPTCHA feature. The script then asks your visitors to enter a text they see in the image below the comment form into an input box. It also features an admin area where comments can be edited and deleted and the front-end language set.
Mowyw is an offline content management system, which means it is a kind of preprocessing system specifically designed for Web sites. It uses a very simple, easy to learn syntax, and is intended to be rather flexible. Headers and footers, includes (like SSI includes), and menus are implemented, with more features planned.
Free-SA is tool for statistical analysis of daemons' log files, similar to SARG. Its main advantages over SARG are much better speed (7x-20x), more support for reports, and W3C compliance of generated HTML/CSS reports. It can be used to help control traffic usage, to control Internet access security policies, to investigate security incidents, to evaluate server efficiency, and to detect troubles with configuration.
Large Database Backup is a class to back up large MySQL databases into multiple files. It can list the tables of a given MySQL database, and generate SQL statements to create and insert records with the current values of the table rows, as if it were creating a new database. The class stores the generated SQL statements in files. A full backup process can be split into multiple iterations so as to not exceed the PHP default script execution time limit. Each iteration dumps a limited number of table rows. An iteration can be executed by a script that redirects the page request to itself at the end to proceed to the next iteration.
Change Web Site Mode is a PHP class that can be used to switch the access to sites between test and production versions. Each Web site must have a copy of all files in the production server and in a test server. This class allows the user to switch between the two copies of the site without having to change the URL. It provides a GUI interface for switching between the test mode and production site. The test version may be run in the local machine or in another machine.
