hwloc provides command line tools and a C API to obtain the hierarchical map of key computing elements, such as: NUMA memory nodes, shared caches, processor sockets, processor cores, and processor "threads". hwloc also gathers various attributes such as cache and memory information, and is portable across a variety of different operating systems and platforms. hwloc primarily aims at helping high-performance computing (HPC) applications, but is also applicable to any project seeking to exploit code and/or data locality on modern computing platforms.

The Easysoft ODBC-Access Driver is an ODBC driver that supports both the MDB (Access 2000–2003 and Office Access 2007) and ACCDB (Office Access 2007 and later) database formats. It provides read-write access to Access databases for Linux/Unix applications. You do not need to change where your database file is located, as it supports shared locations such as a Windows or Samba share. It uses Access’ locking file mechanism and prevents users from opening a database if another user has the database opened for exclusive access, again mirroring the Access front-end’s behavior for seamless integration. It supports encrypted/encoded .mdb files, which is an Access security feature that protects Access data from unauthorized viewing.

OpenSVC is a 'service' manager, as in clustered service manager. Services are described as collections of resources (IP, disk groups, filesystems, file synchronizations, and application launchers). Services can be started, stopped and queried for status, providing a consistent command set for wildly different service integrations. Services can be administered using a stand-alone free software stack deployed on the nodes (nodeware). Osgish is a command line shell for OSGi. It is based on the Readline Library, Jmx4Perl, as the OSGi backend, and Aries JMX as the OSGi Management layer. It is different than other OSGi shells, as it is implemented in pure Perl and provides unique features like wildcard support, context-sensitive command line completion, syntax highlighting, bulk lifecycle operations, advanced query facilities, and remoting via HTTP. It uses jmx4perl and Aries JMX OSGi bundles for accessing the OSGi container remotely.
