Netwib provides most functions needed by network programs. Its objective is to let programmers easily create network programs. This library provides features for Ethernet, IPv4, IPv6, UDP, TCP, ICMP, ARP, and RARP protocols. It supports spoofing, sniffing, client, and server creation. Furthermore, netwib contains high level functions dealing with data handling.
ngIRCd is a portable IRC daemon written from scratch. It is easy to configure, supports server links (even with original ircds) and runs on hosts with changing IP addresses (such as dial-in networks). Currently supported platforms are AIX, A/UX, Darwin/Mac OS X, FreeBSD, HP-UX, IRIX, Linux, NetBSD, SunOS/Solaris, and Windows with Cygwin.
Npasswd is a replacement for the passwd command for UNIX. It subjects user passwords to stringent guessability checks to decrease the chance of users choosing vulnerable passwords. It addresses other deficiencies found of standard password change programs. Npasswd is designed to replace the programs passwd, chfn and chsh.
nxlog is a modular, multi-threaded, high-performance log management solution with multi-platform support. In concept, it is similar to syslog-ng or rsyslog, but is not limited to Unix/syslog only. It can collect logs from files in various formats, receive logs from the network remotely over UDP, TCP, or TLS/SSL on all supported platforms. It supports platform-specific sources such as the Windows Eventlog, Linux kernel logs, Android device logs, local syslog, etc. Writing and reading logs to/from databases is also supported for many database servers. The collected logs can be stored into files, databases, or forwarded to a remote log server using various protocols. The old BSD Syslog and the newer IETF syslog standard (RFC 3164 and RFC 5424-5426) are fully supported by nxlog in addition to XML, JSON, CSV, GELF, and other custom formats. A key concept in nxlog is to be able to handle and preserve structured logs so there is no need to convert everything to syslog and then parse these logs again at the other side. It has powerful message filtering, log rewrite, and conversion capabilities. Using a lightweight, modular, and multi-threaded architecture which can scale, nxlog can process hundreds of thousands of events per second.
oRTP is a library implementing the Real-time Transport Protocol (RFC3550), written in C. It is easy to use and provides a packet scheduler for sending and receiving packets on time, adaptive jitter compensation, automatic sending of RTCP compound packets, and the RTCP parser API. It works with IPv6.
oXygen is an XML editor that supports any XML document, and works with XML Schemas, DTDs, Relax NG schemas, and NRL Schemas. It has powerful transformation support that allows you to edit XSLT and XSL-FO documents and to obtain documents in the desired output format (such as HTML, PS, or PDF) with just one click. It also includes a complete Subversion client, support for flattening XML Schemata, an XML Schema instance generator, integration with the X-Hive/DB, MarkLogic and TigerLogic XML databases, editing actions on the diagram, and a rename refactoring action.
