MatPLC is a software-based PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) for industrial automation. Ultimately, it should be possible to run a factory using this software. Weather data can be stored in a MySQL database. The main component is the ws2500 application, which can read data and status information of the weather station via a serial RS232 connection.
