MIDI Sight Reader is an online music application (mupplet) inspired by its predecessor, the original MidiFlashCard system. The application scrolls both piano notes and guitar tablature. Notes are played for audio confirmation as they pass under the centerline on the window. The scrolling staffs drive a keyboard model and a guitar neck model. The guitar and keyboard can drive each other as well, for interactive exploration of the correspondence between the two instruments. The 3 components, staff, keyboard and guitar, can be independently added and removed from the top down, so many combinations of layout can be achieved.
Guitar Chord API class can be used to search for guitar chords using the Guitar Chord API. It can send an HTTP request to the Guitar chord API Web server to find chord variations based on given data about a chord by specifying the chord name, chord modification, and/or string/fret combination.
Guitar neck is an object that can display chords on a guitar neck. It generates HTML elements inside a div element with a given identifier to show a guitar neck with a given width, height, and number of guitar chords. The object can optionally use graphic images to display the guitar neck, and can display left or right chords.
Chord Pickout for Mac is a program that guesses chords for you. Given a media file, Chord Pickout will transcribe the music and write down the chords that it recognizes. The process is fully automated. While most of its competitors use simple patterns to recognize chords, Chord Pickout applies complex math and shows outstanding results even in the toughest cases.
