gitg targets cases where it is useful to provide a graphical representation of Git data or actions. The history view is a good example, where graphical representation helps to get an overview of the repository. gitg does not aim to be an advanced tool that allows access to every feature of Git through a graphical interface. However, it will try to incorporate common actions that might require multiple actions on the command line (like staging, unstaging, reverting, and committing).

System Monitor is a little tool made to ease monitoring of servers and processes. It provides you with the ability to create as many terminals as you want, and name and pack them in any order you like. You can, of course, specify what command each terminal will fork.

GTK+ Recent Files Scrubber is a compact, lightweight Python script which uses GTK's RecentManager to watch for updates to all globally-available "Recently Used" lists (the ones which appear in Open dialogs and the like) and filter out anything in the folders you blacklist. Blacklist entries are hashed to make reading the blacklist not worth the effort.
