Entangle is a desktop application for interacting with digital SLR cameras. With a suitably capable camera, it allows for full manipulation of the camera settings, remote triggering of the shutter, live preview of scenes, and download of captured images. It supports use of monitor colour profiles for accurate on-screen rendering of images. Integration with the GObject introspection framework allows third party extension plugins to enhance the core functionality.
Unsettings is a graphical configuration program for the Unity desktop environment which lets you change some of Unity's settings. It also lets you save your settings into and load from a text file (in JSON format) so you can easily back up your settings or copy them to a different account.
LifeQuest is a tool that keeps track of what you need to do, and tells you what to do next. You simply enter the things you want to do, along with priority and date information, and LifeQuest does the rest. Unlike other to do list programs, it aims to minimise the amount of effort you spend entering information. It is also inspired by GTD, with contexts and projects to help you find things to do wherever you are or when there is a project you want to focus on. It is also designed to be motivational. Your to do list is a Quest, your projects are Adventures, and your contexts are Locations.
Vanubi is a programming editor highly inspired by Emacs but with a more modern fashion. It aims to be unobtrusive yet smart, simple yet complete with the necessary components built in (monolithic), keyboard based with contextual help, file/directory based (not project based), and fast to open for rapid file editing. It features splitting views, auto indent, sessions, fuzzy search everywhere, git support with side gutter and grep, emacs-like and shell-like key bindings, integration with the shell, and an ad-hoc scripting language.
