The entire operating system and all the applications run from RAM, making Austrumi faster than larger distributions that must read from a disk, and allowing the boot medium to be removed after the operating system starts.

Cinux is a Linux distribution that can be used as an educational platform for university students. Other than an educational platform, Cinux can be used as a platform to develop applications for Linux.
