FusionMaps helps you create animated, interactive, and data-driven Flash maps for your dynamic Web applications. It can display geographical data distributed by category, regions, or entities. Usage examples include statistical display of data, flight routes, office locations, election results, survey results, or business data like "Revenue by Regions" or "Revenue by states". It can plot over 450 maps, including all continents, major countries, and US states. The maps are driven by an XML data source.
mod_gfx is a configurable Apache module that uses libgd to perform image operations on the fly. Some of the supported image operations are: resize, resample, watermark, and crop. A couple of its special features are origin selection via URI regex and round-robin over a list of hosts.
Magic Lantern is a multimedia "slide show" creation and presentation tool that helps its users to locate, correlate, and present sequences of graphic images, the modern equivalent of a slide show. It includes a sophisticated editor that supports drag and drop, and similar features that simplify the task of arranging images for presentation. It supports standard multimedia remote controls, has features such as image dissolve, and supports audio file synchronization with images.
AKVIS Decorator is a plug-in that allows you to change the surface of an object in a realistic manner. You can apply a snake skin to your car, turn a man into an alien, change a dress on a girl, convert a wooden table into a golden one, etc. It is compatible with Adobe Photoshop and Photoshop Elements, Corel Painter, Corel Photo-Paint, Paint Shop Pro, and Ulead PhotoImpact.
HeeksCNC is a CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) add-on module for HeeksCAD. The user can add machining operations. These can then be output to NC code. The NC code is then shown as red and green lines on the screen. The NC code is generated using Python script, so it can be configured for different machines. HeeksCNC uses pycam for the "Zig Zag" operation, libarea for the "Pocket" operation, and libactp for the "Adaptive Roughing" operation.
Z88 is a fast, powerful, and compact finite elements analysis program. Z88 features 20 finite element types; it covers plane stress, plate bending, axial symmetric structures, and spacial structures up to 20-node Serendipity hexahedrons. It comes with a user-friendly interface (the Z88 Commander), and has a powerful mesh generator. It features a DXF coverter and two plot programs. The FEA solver is included, featuring an in-situ Cholesky solver along with the Jennings storage method. COSMOS and NASTRAN files from Pro/ENGINEER can be imported. Z88 is a project of the University of Bayreuth, Germany.
