AKVIS ArtWork is designed to imitate different painting techniques by creating a work of art from any digital photo. It offers two painting styles - Oil Painting and Comics. The oil painting effect lays brush strokes naturally using the original photo as a reference, while the comics effect helps you replicate works of famous comic artists. It is available as a stand-alone application as well as a plugin for Adobe Photoshop etc.

Wiipresent is a program that lets you use a Nintendo Wiimote as a cheap and reliable wireless presentation device. The various buttons are mapped to help you navigate through your presentation. The device rumbles to indicate how much time has passed and the LEDs gives you visual feedback on how much time you have left. You can also use your Wiimote's IR and tilting capabilities to move your mouse pointer on screen. Wiipresent was designed to be an off-the-shelf tool that can be used by anyone as long as you have a bluetooth receiver.
Quad-Ren is a resolution independent 2D graphics engine that aims to ease the development of bitmap-based applications, primarily games. It will run regardless of screen resolution or aspect ratio, and works flawlessly with tiling window managers. It rectifies many of the issues with older methods of 2D game development such as color key transparency (which inevitably leads to aliasing) and having to draw sprites in a specific order, which Quad-Ren handles using alpha transparency and layers respectfully. It is programmed in, and usable from C++, with a simple object-oriented API and a small, well documented, easy to edit code base.
