AgileGallery is a photo gallery that processes the XML output from Picasa, generates paging and thumbnails, and displays the full sized photos along with any captions entered in Picasa. AgileGallery presently comes in two flavors: one that uses AJAX for the interface and one that uses Flash. AgileGallery does not require any server-side technology to generate photo galleries.
F-Spot is a personal photo management application for the GNOME desktop. It simplifies digital photography by providing intuitive tools to help you share, touch-up, find, and organize your images. These tools include editing, color adjustments, tags, Photo CD creation, and exporting for upload.
Image Viewer is a multi-frame (animated) image viewer with real-time interactive pan and zoom viewing that uses the GTK+ toolkit and Imlib. It is capable of opening and saving to any image format supported by Imlib. It features screenshots (screen capture), crop, resizing, print, fullscreen display, display on the desktop (root window), animation (creating animated GIFs), color leveling, drawing font/text strings, and editing image header information.
Nautilus Image Converter is a Nautilus extension to mass resize and rotate images. It adds a "Resize Images..." menu item to the context menu of all images. This opens a dialog where you set the desired image size and file name. A click on "Resize" resizes the image(s) using ImageMagick's convert tool. A "Rotate Images..." menu item is also available.
Picasa is Google's photo organizer. It makes it easy to find, edit, and share digital photos. It automatically locates and remembers all pictures and sorts them into visual albums organized by date with recognizable folder names. You can drag and drop to arrange albums and make labels to create new groups. This Linux version mostly has the same features as the Windows version, and is based on a modified version of Wine.
ResCafé is a Swing-based Java utility for reading and extracting resources such as ICONs and MENUs from the Resource Forks of Macintosh files. In particular, it allows Linux users to use nifty Mac-only icons with their favorite desktop, e.g., KDE. It is somewhat similar to ResEdit on MacOS except that it is not an editor; it operates on files in a read-only fashion. The various resource types are parsed by auto-detected plugin handler classes.

nautilus-audio-convert is an extension of Gnome Nautilus that provides a user-friendly way to convert several audio files. This extension adds a popup-menu item that applies to every audio file selected with the file manager. The supported formats are Ogg Vorbis (ogg), MPEG3 (mp3), MS-PCM Waves (wav), and MS-Audio Streaming File (asf).
