OpenGGD (Open GPS Gateway and Database) aims to be a solution for centralizing vehicle fleet GPS information, acting as an interface among different GPS devices or their control programs and different GIS programs. OpenGGD is mainly a GPS database infrastructure. It is neither a program for controlling GPS devices nor a mapping tool.
The gps_installer is a GTK+ application used to integrate custom Ada library projects into the Gnat Programming Studio (GPS). The installer is designed to be as simple as possible. It takes the directory where the source files are located and the list of files to install. The installer tries to figure out where to move the files and how to process them. No specific actions need to be specified.
GPX Viewer is a simple program to visualize a GPX file. It uses libchamplain and cairo for the plot. It can show multiple GPX files, show waypoints and multiple tracks per GPX file, highlight a selected track, show a speed vs. time graph, and show distance, duration, average, moving average, max speed, moving time, and GPS points. It supports zooming, smoothing of the speed graph, and highlighting points in a speed graph on a map.
MerakoGPS is a set of software for Merako-series boards. It is meant for GPS receiver development. MerakoGPS runs on a flexible Merako-series hardware board which uses a CycloneIII FPGA to accomplish the correlator function, and NiosII or ARM to do GPS signal acquisition, tracking, navigation message decoding, and PVT computing.
fastgps is a fully functional GPS software receiver which demonstrates all the steps performed in a GNSS navigation receiver. This receiver includes: an FFT acquisition; code and carrier tracking; pseudorange measurements; navigation data decoding; and position, velocity, and time estimation functions. The software receiver is also capable of using external aiding data from the International GNSS Service (IGS) as well as applying WAAS differential ionosphere corrections.
GPS Tool is a flexible tool for downloading and processing GPS data on Mac OS X. The tool itself is a front-end for various cross-platform tools, namely GPS Babel and scripts which are used to download GPS data. The tool is very easy to use and allows you to define preset processing scripts for batch processing large amounts of GPS data. The plugin system allows you to integrate device discovery and GPS data download into an easy-to-use GUI.
