Fast File Validator (FFV) is a program for verifying files against a checksum file and for creating such checksum files. FFV supports both SFV files (which use the CRC32 algorithm) and MD5 files. "Checksum" is meant in the generic sense here. Technically, neither CRC32 nor MD5 is really a checksum.
Kobldes makes it possible for the designer to model building information and uses POV-Ray for visualization. It is also programmed using the POV-Ray screen description language (SDL). The goal of is to create a fully functioning building information modeling and management tool for designing buildings. It currently allows the designer to accomplish basic tasks with building components such as building levels and spaces in the process of solving design problems. In the near future, it will compute and make available information about the building such as sizes/volumes (such as an area for painting in a particular room), requirement checks (e.g. spatial conformance), and Property checks (e.g. calculating the solar savings factor).
The Blender-Mathutils module originated from Blender, where it has been used for some years in production as a utility module for use in areas including animation, games, and mesh manipulation. This differs from 'numpy' in that it is computer graphics focused, combining Matrix and Vector types with rotation classes, which is very useful for use with animation or anywhere Euler and Quaternion values are frequently used. This project is mainly a build system around the actively maintained mathutils code in Blender to allow non-Blender related projects to make use of it. A link to the Blender repository is used so that the source never gets out of sync.
hexter is a software synthesizer that models the sound generation of a Yamaha DX7 synthesizer. It can easily load most DX7 patch bank files, edit those patches via a built-in editor or MIDI sys-ex messages, and recreate the sound of the DX7 with greater accuracy than any previous open source emulation (that the author is aware of). It operates as a plugin for the DSSI Soft Synth Interface.
POP-Before-SMTP-Auth is a POP before SMTP daemon for Dovecot and Postfix that works by scanning mail server log files. The line-matching regex can be changed from the configuration file, in case Dovecot's logging format changes, and also to adapt the script for use with something besides Dovecot. Presently the script requires that the IP address appear on a single line with the successful login in the log file.
