Knowledge Management Key (KMKey) is Web-based knowledge management software that joins three solutions on the same collaborative platform: KMKey Project: for planning, managing, and controlling your project portfolio; KMKey Quality to manage your Quality System; and KMKey HelpDesk: for your maintenance and support department. It's developed using Python and Zope, on top of the content management CPS.
LibrePlan is a Web application for project planning, monitoring, and control. It is a collaborative tool to plan, monitor, and control projects and has a rich Web interface that provides a desktop-like user experience. All the team members can take part in the planning, which makes it possible to have real-time planning. It was designed for a scenario where multiple projects and resources interact to carry out the work inside a company. It makes it possible to communicate with other company tools, providing a wide set of Web services to import and export data.
COMPILIBRE allows you to easily build your own software and documentation compilations for Windows and Mac OS X. Compilations are ready to be stored onto a digital medium (such as CD, DVD, or USB key) or to be broadcast over the Internet. It has a Web-based interface in which you store the description of several software packages. Then, you choose which software packages you want to put into the compilation, and COMPILIBRE produces an ISO file, a zip file, and a BitTorrent file that contains the software, their descriptions, their documentation, and a multi-installer program.
Simple Continuous Integration Tools (scit) is an automated build and or test system consisting of a set of Perl and expect scripts utilizing common tools that are available for most Unix-like operating systems. The intention is to keep it lightweight while still providing a full set of features. The current version has a command-line and an HTML user interface. It should be possible to make it run on very modest hardware; part of the development and testing has been done on a Nokia N900 phone with both master and slave roles running on the same unit.
Event is a simple PHP-based software package for creating a simple Web page for upcoming events. Event supports an unlimited number of events, each with its own mini-site, each of which is configured by a single text file. Event is designed to run in constrained environments, and without needing write permissions from the Web user or database access. Event supports localization into additional languages.
EO is a template-based, ANSI-C++ evolutionary computation library that helps you to write your own stochastic optimization algorithms quickly. Evolutionary algorithms form a family of algorithms inspired by the theory of evolution, and solve various problems. They evolve a set of solutions to a given problem in order to produce the best results. These are stochastic algorithms because they iteratively use random processes. The vast majority of these methods are used to solve optimization problems, and may be also called "metaheuristics". They are also ranked among computational intelligence methods, a domain close to artificial intelligence. With the help of EO, you can easily design evolutionary algorithms that will find solutions to virtually all kind of hard optimization problems, from continuous to combinatorial ones.
CheckApp will serve as a basis for a free (as in freedom and as in beer) social network, so that anyone will be able to check out and modify the code, or deploy this application in their own server. It will also try to minimize the usage of personal information, so there would be no privacy problems.
Design Center is a Web application that allows users to change the colour of different layers in a photo. In a photo of a bedroom, there could be layers for the walls, the ceiling, and for the floor. The application lets users change the colour of each and see how a new paint job would look. If used on a furniture store's Web site, different layers could be used for beds, chairs, lampshades, etc. to allow customisation by users.
