Forban works independently from the Internet and uses only the local area capabilities to announce, discover, search, or share files. Forban relies on HTTP and is opportunistic, meaning that it replicates any files of interest seen in its proximity. The Forban protocols are minimalistic to ease the production of other implementations.

nad_daemon is a daemon used to remote control NAD amplifiers over RS232. It will accept commands from the network and send them to the amplifier. It also includes a simple client. It has only been tested on the C355bee, but it should work with other amplifiers. Certain receivers from NAD will also be remote controllable in this fashion, but the more fancy features are not yet implemented.

Design Center is a Web application that allows users to change the colour of different layers in a photo. In a photo of a bedroom, there could be layers for the walls, the ceiling, and for the floor. The application lets users change the colour of each and see how a new paint job would look. If used on a furniture store's Web site, different layers could be used for beds, chairs, lampshades, etc. to allow customisation by users.

The ServerUsage system collects and processes statistical information from computers running a GNU/Linux Operating System. It is composed of two subprojects, the ServerUsage-Client to collect usage statistics (via a SystemTap module) and send them to a remote server via TCP, and the ServerUsage-Server to collect all statistics from different clients and aggregate them in a SQlite database table. A PHP Web service is available on the server module to extract information or display graphics.
