Famflows is a program which tracks "flows" of energy and materials inside a household. It has an alternative approach from double entry accounting systems. In those systems (like gnucash or jgnash), the transactions are balanced in numeric value. In famflows, instead, the transactions are balanced in the conversion, but not in the numeric value.
jiggyMPD is a Web-based client for the Music Player Daemon and a companion tray icon. It is in relatively early development, but usable now. jiggyMPD extends the MPD data to add features MPD clients typically lack, such as ratings, date added, and last played date. This allows for some unique features. The jiggy data can be queried for smart playlist-type functionality. For example, "added <= 30, rating = 0, playcount <= 2, lastplayed > 1" will tell the client to find all songs added to your collection within 30 days, not yet rated, played 2 or less times, and not played today. It also fetches album art and lyrics.

Hailo is a fast and lightweight markov engine intended to replace AI::MegaHAL. It has a Mouse (or Moose) based core with pluggable storage, tokenizer, and engine backends. It is similar to MegaHAL in functionality. The main differences (with the default backends) are better scalability, drastically less memory usage, an improved tokenizer, and tidier output. With this distribution, you can create, modify, and query Hailo brains. To use Hailo in event-driven POE applications, you can use the POE::Component::Hailo wrapper. One example is POE::Component::IRC::Plugin::Hailo, which implements an IRC chat bot.
FluxBB is a fast, light, user-friendly forum application for Web sites. It was originally based on PunBB and supports UTF-8, XHTML, and internationalization, and leaves out some of the less than essential features of other forums without sacrificing essential functionality or usability.
