Multiple Devices Proxy is an application proxy to communicate with pipes, serial ports (RS-232/RS-485), TCP/IP, and potentially all devices in a host computer via TCP/IP sockets. It supports multicast and communication isolation. Any server may have many resources, e.g. 2 pipes, 4 RS-232, and 2 connected sockets to another server. Clients may ask for 1 to many of these resources, and all data will be multicast.
Hotwire is an integrated inventory system and a rapid deployment tool targeted at servicing enterprise environments. The currently supported rapid deployment technologies are Kickstart (Red Hat Linux), AutoYaST (SuSE Linux), and Preseed (Debian GNU/Linux). The hotwire server itself can be installed on any Linux platform, however. Additionally, where client machines have the python-dmidecode, func, and certmaster packages installed, hotwire is able to provide an automated inventory maintenance and dynamic updates, via funcwire, a hotwire tool.
Open-BLDC is firmware for STM32 microcontroller based brushless motor controllers. The goal of the project is to support active freewheeling, active break, adjustable timings, rotation speed and power controllers, and many more. Support for multiple interfaces like PPM, RS232, I2C, and CAN is planned.
OpenSCB is a hardware and software solution for controlling servos over USB. The hardware is designed to interface with classic RC servos, AX-12/AX-18 servos, OpenServo, and more using a powerful 32-bit microcontroller with a USB port for programming and control with a PC. The schematic and layout will be available and can be customized. A graphical interface is also provided for your computer to configure, calibrate, and control the board.
check_openmanage is a plugin for Nagios that checks the hardware health of Dell servers running OpenManage Server Administrator (OMSA). The plugin can be used remotely with SNMP or locally with NRPE, check_by_ssh, or similar. It checks the health of the storage subsystem, power supplies, memory modules, temperature probes, etc., and gives an alert if any of the components are faulty or operate outside normal parameters.
fpgasm creates bare-metal FPGA designs without Verilog or VHDL. Traditionally, FPGAs are built using proprietary Verilog or VHDL language implementations provided by the vendor. fpgasm is to Verilog and VHDL as assembly language is to C++. It takes you all the way to the netlist, and is not just a translator to Verilog. Because of that, the total "make" time to a working fpga is seconds, not minutes. With fewer than ten reserved words, fpgasm syntax can be mastered in a few minutes. With FPGA assembler, you can focus on understanding the FPGA substrate and how your design should map onto it (instead of figuring out large and complicated tools).
Einarc is a unified storage RAID command line interface and an API that provides management for various hardware/software RAID devices, uniting them all in a single paradigm. Einarc works as a translator that makes it possible for a user to control all these devices using simple terms like "physical disc", "logical disc", "adapter", etc., while transparently converting these requests to proprietary RAID paradigms.
