GNU Mailutils is a rich and powerful protocol-independent mail framework. It contains a series of useful mail libraries, clients, and servers. These are the primary mail utilities for the GNU system. The central library is capable of handling electronic mail in various mailbox formats and protocols, both local and remote. Specifically, this project contains a POP3 server, an IMAP4 server, and a Sieve mail filter. It also provides a POSIX "mailx" client and a collection of other handy tools.
The OODBMS/DBMS ODABA is an terminology-oriented database management system (TODBMS) on a high conceptual level. This is an extension of the ODBMS concept according to ODMG 3. It provides a number of enhanced features based on natural language analysis. Beside the database kernel, a number of tools are provided for database design, documentation, and fast development. ODABA provides a powerful interface (C++, .NET) and an ODABA Script Interface (OSI), a C++/JAVA like scripting language, which provides easy access to the database.
Dashboard is a rapid application development framework. It's designed to make writing PHP faster and more secure by removing the repetitive parts of programming from the development cycle. It's suitable for many Web applications, but it is specifically designed for making Web sites that need some custom development for interaction with a database.
Box is a framework to build complex applications with simple repetitive tasks assimilated to a "black box". It is highly inspired by signal processing processes applied to the Web. It will replace any MVC or 3 layer patterns that are unaware of real Web programming needs. It natively includes high parametrization, languages, and templates for each task in the framework.
iPfaces is a framework for simple creation of native, form-oriented network applications for mobile devices. The aim of the solution is to screen the programmer completely out from the mobile platform itself, and transfer the entire application logic to the central application server level. Developers with experience with one of the supported Web technologies (ASP.Net, Java, and PHP) may start working with iPFaces virtually immediately.
Bashinator is a bash shell script framework. It provides flexible and powerful message handling that lets you print to stdout, log (to syslog or a logfile), and mail messages with a single message function. Exhaustive information is included in messages to ease debugging. This information includes timestamps, message severity, source file, line numbers, and function names. A facility for tracing the function call stack is provided. Sub-command output can be logged by capturing the stdout/stderr of external commands to a dedicated temporary logfile. The framework also provides lockfile handling.
EpochX is a genetic programming framework. It is designed specifically for the task of analyzing evolutionary automatic programming, so is ideal for researchers who require an extendable system for studying the effects of new operators or procedures. It supports 3 popular representations - Strongly-Typed tree GP, Context-Free Grammar GP, and Grammatical Evolution.
