nxgipd is a monitoring daemon for UTC / GE Interlogix / Caddx alarm systems that use the Networx NX-584 protocol. Supported alarm systems and panels include the NX-8, NX-8V2, and NX-8E. The daemon process requires minimal memory and CPU resources. It continuously monitors the alarm panel and logs any activity into local log file and/or to syslog. The nxstat program can be used to query panel status in real-time. It typically requires a NX-584E (home automation) module or for the built-in serial port to be enabled (NX-8E panel).
TWSI is software that produces lexical substitutions in context for over 1000 frequent nouns. It processes English text. This functionality is realized by a supervised word sense disambiguation system, which is trained by sense-labeled occurrences of target words. A classification model is trained for each word, and used to decide which sense an unseen occurrence most likely belongs to. Associated with senses are lists of substitutions, which are injected into the text using inline annotation.
libmx provides a framework for dealing with (extended and optionally typed) lambda calculus expressions. Among other features, it provides a template instantiation machine for evaluating the value of a lambda calculus expression, a template instantiation machine for evaluating the Hindley-Milner type of an lambda calculus expression, and reference counter-based memory management for lambda calculus expressions and types.
Upsilon is a distributed, flexible, and extensible system monitoring application. Being distributed means you run service checks on Upsilon nodes in your network where it makes sense, either on every server or on a management network, inside or outside the firewall. You can run checks on secure, hard to reach networks, and push those results to a central server. You can optionally execute "agentless" checks just by using SSH. Being flexible means that if you can script it, you can monitor it. Unlike most monitoring systems, the monitoring scripts are external to the main server, so you can use Upsilon to execute your monitoring scripts in an extremely robust way. Upsilon has been used to monitor many different things and is API-compatible with all nagios monitoring scripts. Being extensible means you can add monitoring checks to Upsilon at runtime without needing to restart the server. The upsilon-node and upsilon-web projects both have their own REST APIs.
"fgallery" is a static photo gallery generator with no frills that has a stylish, minimalist look. It shows your photos, and nothing else. There is no server-side processing, only static generation. The resulting gallery can be uploaded anywhere without additional requirements and works with any modern browser.
Fileevent is a rules-based utility that matches files based on simple patterns and macros and performs actions on them. These actions are typically used to transfer or rename the file ready for further processing. This utility is particularly useful for batch processing environments where files to load/process might arrive on an adhoc basis. Fileevent allows them to be transferred elsewhere, retrieved from elsewhere, or renamed.
