Wally is a Qt4 wallpaper changer using multiple sources like files, folders, FTP remote folders, Flickr, Yahoo!, Panoramio, Ipernity, Photobucket, Buzznet, Picasa, Smugmug, Google, Vladstudio, and deviantART images. It is available in many languages. Supported Linux window managers are GNOME, GnomeShell, KDE3, KDE4, XFCE4, BlackBox, FluxBox, Window Maker, and FVWM (experimental).
Qassir is a graphical frontend to manage encrypted folders. At the moment, it only supports mounting and unmounting folders encrypted with EncFS. Future releases will provide access to all of EncFS's functionality, i.e. creation of encrypted folders, changing the password for a folder, etc.
AutoWallpaper is a cross-platform desktop wallpaper changing utility. It automatically (or manually) changes the desktop wallpaper at a specified time interval set by the user. It runs in the background with a system tray icon that is visible when the application is running. It is written in Visual C# .NET 2008 (Windows versions) and Qt 4.4.3/4.5.0 (Linux/others).
SynScope is an offline visualization and alignment tool for time-varying signals acquired from multiple sources that may differ in offset and/or sample rate. SynScope allows you to define reference points that correspond to identical events between source pairs. It then estimates the offset and resample rate to link these sources. It maps sample time from one source to the other via a link equation. Signal alignment can be inspected with synchronous visualization or resampling. With synchronous visualization, linked signals scroll together according to the link relation. With resampling, linked signals are resampled to the highest sample rate and offset-compensated.
TSPSG is intended to generate and solve "travelling salesman problem" (TSP) tasks. It uses the Branch and Bound method for solving. Its input is a number of cities and a matrix of city-to-city travel costs. The matrix can be populated with random values in a given range (which is useful for generating tasks). The result is an optimal route, its price, step-by-step matrices of solving, and a solving graph. The task can be saved in an internal binary format and opened later. The result can be printed or saved as PDF, HTML, or ODF. TSPSG may be useful for teachers to generate test tasks or just for regular users to solve TSPs. Also, it may be used as an example of using the Branch and Bound method to solve a particular task.
Sentinella is a desktop application that monitors your system activity and, when a condition is met, takes the action that you've chosen. It can power off, reboot, or hibernate your system, kill an active process, throw an alarm, or execute any command. Sentinella integrates perfectly with the main desktop enviroments (KDE, GNOME, XFCE, and others) and works under many Unix systems.
