The GNU Gatekeeper is a free H.323 gatekeeper based on the OpenH323 project. You can use it to manage a Voice-over-IP network and let endpoints (e.g., Netmeeting) communicate through symbolic names. It also has an external interface for billing and other applications. It runs on a number of Unix versions (including Linux and Solaris) and Windows.
Gammu (formerly known as MyGnokii2) is a cellular manager for various mobile phones/modems. It supports a wide variety of Nokia, Symbian, and AT devices (Siemens, Alcatel, Falcom, WaveCom, IPAQ, Samsung, SE, and others) over cables, infrared, or BlueTooth. It contains libraries with functions for ringtones, phonebook, SMS, logos, WAP, date/time, alarm, calls, and more (used by external applications like Wammu). It also includes a command line utility that can make many things (including backups) and an SMS gateway with full MySQL and PostgreSQL support from the PHP interface.
gnokii is a multisystem tool suite for mobile phones. It provides a library to communicate with a phone hiding the communication protocol. The library handles SMS, phonebook, calendar, phone calls, and other mobile phone capabilities. It supports Nokia-FBUS mobiles, AT-capable phones (most of the mobiles), as well as Symbian-based phones.
Wammu is a mobile phone manager that uses Gammu as its backend. It works with any phone that Gammu supports, including many models from Nokia, Siemens, and Alcatel. It has complete support (read, edit, delete, copy) for contacts, todo, and calendar. It can read, save, and send SMS. It includes an SMS composer for multi-part SMS messages, and it can display SMS messages that include pictures. Currently, only text and predefined bitmaps or sounds can be edited in the SMS composer. It can export messages to an IMAP4 server (or other email storage).
Appkonference is a high performance voice/video conferencing system for Asterisk. It is a fork of appconference, and it focuses on reliability and scalability. Appkonference has been tested on both Asterisk 1.4 and 1.6.X. Both Asterisk installations supported more than 1200 participants at a time.

This module invokes the Flite TTS engine locally, and uses it to render text to speech. It supports voice selection and 8kHz or 16kHz sample rates to provide the best possible sound quality along with the use of wideband codecs. It works with Asterisk 1.6.x, 1.8, and 10.

QuteCom (formerly WengoPhone) is a multi-platform VoIP client. The GUI is Qt-based, and the Video-over-IP engine is based on the eXosip, oSIP, oRTP, ffmpeg, and libgaim projects. The eXosip module is extended by a phApi module, which implements a high-level, easy-to-use call control API. It supports PC-to-PC voice, video, and chat. One can use a standard SIP service provider such as Wengo to be assigned an incoming number, make calls to PSTN/cell phones, get voice mail, and more. In addition to SIP/SIMPLE QuteCom provides IM functionality using libgaim, so it is compatible with all protocols supported by libgaim.
open-cgf provides a 3GPP-compliant charging gateway function (CGF) as a sink for SGSN, GGSN, and other streamed CDRs on the 3GPP Ga/Gz interface using GTP' (GTP prime). Refer to 3GPP 32.295. These are common packet-switched data elements of GSM/UMTS mobile telephone networks. It aims to supply a telco-grade solution to this common, albeit very specialized, need. It does not decode the ASN.1 CDRs, but simply and reliably writes them to disk for later processing.
