4Sports is an exercise management application. You can use it to analyze your exercises in a number of ways. 4Sports can import data from the Garmin "Forerunner 201/301" devices, and can display some information in a table and in a graph (like heart rate over distance). It's also possible to export the tracks (GPS data) into Google Earth, where the track is color-coded according to your heart-rate. The graphs can be exported to SVG files.

Addjob lets you distribute jobs over a network. You just run "addjob-server", and then submit jobs like "addjob gcc -c foo.c". You can still interact with your program via the command line, and exit-codes are preserved, so it integrates well with Makefiles.

acoc is a regular-expression based colour formatter for programs that display output on the command-line. It works as a wrapper around the target program, executing it and capturing the stdout stream. Optionally, stderr can be redirected to stdout, so that it, too, can be manipulated. acoc then applies matching rules to patterns in the output and applies colours to those matches.
