Alleyoop is a GNOME frontend to the Valgrind memory checker. Its features include a right-click context menu to intelligently suppress errors or launch an editor on the source file, jumping to the exact line of the error condition. A searchbar at the top of the viewer can be used to limit the viewable errors to those that match the regex criteria entered. A fully functional Suppressions editor is also included.
Mailpictures is a Nautilus extension in GTK/Perl, designed to be a more featured nautilus-sendto replacement. It allows direct access via Nautilus context menus, automatic resizing of pictures, setting for JPEG compression, ZIP archiving of the selection, support for Evolution, Thunderbird, Icedove, and Kmail, and the ability to save results in a folder.
GtkEditor is a source code editor widget for GTK+. It is currently used, in one version or another, in several GTK+/GNOME applications, including gIDE, VDKBuilder, and GXEdit. The gtkeditor widget sub-classes the gtktext widget, and after initialization, the editor widget can be treated as the usual text widget, and all source-code editing features are taken care of by the widget itself. The behaviour of the editor is decided by dynamic libraries loaded during initialization of the widget. These libraries can be hand-coded or (in the future) created using tools supplied with GtkEditor.
gnome-run-dialog uses the same history as GNOME's one, but sorts it alphabetically. It also allows you to run a command as root, or in a terminal, or both. You can also clear the history or choose a file as an argument for the application. As soon as you start typing in the textentry, a completion will be shown, which shows every matching application in /usr/bin and /usr/sbin, which you can then select. It also allows you to pass environment variables to your application.
Lifesaver is a GNOME Screensaver that displays recent posts about Ubuntu on Twitter, Identi.ca, and FriendFeed. Since it performs automated searches of various unfiltered Internet resources, you may encounter language and opinions that are offensive to those of a sensitive disposition, or inappropriate in a workplace environment.
