TaylorType is a program that speeds up the creation of LaTeX documents. It will compile any LaTeX document you give it with a single click. The emphasis is on a very lightweight and simple GUI. The only interaction happens in the system tray, with two file selectors and a checkbox.
The GNOME Structured File Library is a utility library for reading and writing structured file formats. Support for MS OLE2 streams is complete, as is zip import. There is also support for document metadata and some initial work on decompressing VBA streams in OLE files for future conversion to other languages. This library replaces libole2 and is used in gnumeric, mrproject, abiword, libwv2, koffice. It is also part of the AAF format.
Gnome Simple Stateful Music Player is a small, simple music player that keeps out of your way whenever possible. It remembers what you were playing when you exited, and continues in the same place the next time you start. It doesn't build a database of your audio tracks: instead it works with your files and directories directly. It remembers tracks you have been playing recently, and allows you to pick them up where you left off.
