Absimpa is a Java class library that provides a recursive decent parser. It is an experiment in abstraction and Java generics. It tries to include only the essentials of what makes out a parser and to leave out, or rather leave free for specification, what is not relevant for the parsing process.

BHL is an Emacs mode which enables you to convert plain text files into HTML, LaTeX, Texinfo, SGML (Linuxdoc), and TXT files. The BHL mode handles three levels of sections, many sectioning styles, common font-styles, any kind of lists, tables, URLs, horizontal rules, and Wiki names. BHL handles a list of links (lol) and a table of contents (toc): you can browse the lol and the toc, insert them where you want, and update the sections' numbers with one keystroke.

Babeldoc is a framework and set of applications to process documents for business-to-business and other Internet/integration applications. It is primarily intended for text documents, especially XML, but supports a wide range of operations and data types. It has a sophisticated journaling system that supports replaying and reprocessing. Babeldoc is pipeline based and supports numerous ways to combine the pipeline stages in a dynamically reconfigurable fashion. CharEntry is a tool for inserting non-ASCII characters into text, with particular emphasis on linguistic notation. It provides charts of the consonants, vowels, and diacritics of the International Phonetic Alphabet as well as a chart of precomposed accented characters. Clicking on a character inserts it into a text region, the contents of which may be saved to a file or copied and pasted elsewhere. A widget for inserting characters by Unicode codepoint is also provided. Furthermore, it is possible to read the definition of a custom character chart from a file.
