Gcmc is a front-end language for generating G-code, SVG, and DXF for CNC mills, lathes, laser cutters, and other numerically controlled machines employing G-code, SVG, or DXF. The language is a context-free grammar created to overcome the archaic format of G-code programming, but can be used more generally for many targets. Gcmc aims to be more readable and understandable than G-code and enable programmatic designing. Gcmc makes extensive use of vector mathematics to support the 3D nature of CNC machining. It handles units as millimeters, mils (inch), degrees, and radians and performs automatic conversions where necessary.

G-Code Ripper reads g-code, scales, and rotates and/or splits the tool paths before outputting the modified tool path data to a new g-code file. It evaluates g-code expressions and parameters and interprets YZ and ZX arcs. YZ and ZX arcs are internally converted to linear motions for compatibility with splitting and rotation.

dmap2gcode is a depth map image cutting program. A depth map is a greyscale image in which the darkness or lightness of each pixel corresponds to the depth (or height) of the object at each point. dmap2gcode supports various cutter geometries (flat, ball nose, and v-bit), two types of cut entry (straight and arc), a full set of roughing options, and various other settings, all controlled through a graphical user interface. The g-code output from dmap2gcode is compatible with LinuxCNC and Mach3.
