Langton's Ant is an example of a finite-state cellular automata. The ant (or ants) start out on a grid. Each cell is either black or white. If the ant is on a black square, it turns right 90° and moves forward one unit. If the ant is on a white square, it turns left 90° and moves forward one unit. And when the ant leaves a square, it inverts the color. The neat thing about Langton's Ant is that no matter what pattern field you start it out on, it eventually builds a "road," which is a series of 117 steps that repeat indefinitely, each time leaving the ant displaced one pixel vertically and horizontally.

matritsa is a computer version of a board game for kids. The goal is to take cards out of a deck of cards and put them on a board so that they match different properties of the rows and the columns. It comes with a game with the goal of matching the number of red balls of the column and the number of green balls of the row. The game provides a very simple method of adding your own cards.
A one-player side-view game in the style of Capcom's excellent "MegaMan" series of Nintendo, PlayStation and PC games. As "BoboBot," the `robo-monkey,' you travel to eight different levels fighting your way to the boss. Once defeated, you gain that boss' special weapon. This preview release contains 4 of the 8+ planned levels and has sound and joystick support for Linux users.
Frodo is a free, portable C64 emulator. It focuses on the exact reproduction of graphical effects possible on the C64, and comes in three "flavors" (Frodo, Frodo PC, and Frodo SC) with increasingly higher quality of emulation, but at the cost of higher processing power requirements. Frodo has been ported to a number of systems, including handheld computers. The Unix version can use either SDL, X11, or SVGAlib to display the graphics.
