For users on Linux and Unix, KDE offers a full suite of user workspace applications which allow interaction with these operating systems in a modern, graphical user interface. C-Dogs SDL is a port of the old DOS arcade game C-Dogs to modern operating systems. C-Dogs is an arcade shoot-em-up which lets players work alone or co-operativly during missions, and against each other in the "dogfight" deathmatch mode. The original DOS version of C-Dogs came with several built in missions and dogfight maps, and this version is no exception. The author of the DOS version of C-Dogs was Ronny Wester.

Ditchers is a multiplayer action game where underground tanks use a variety of weapons to find and destroy each other. Tanks dig tunnels in the soil with a limited supply of energy that can be refilled only in homes (as well as health). the GUI is controlled mainly by mouse, while gameplay is controlled only by keyboard. It is not difficult to create your own maps or to draw your own tank. The game supports split-screen, network games, and artificial players whose intelligence is programmable in the Lua scripting language. The game is inspired by Tunneler.
